AARON J. DERWIN II

Photography found me, perhaps, out of necessity. A composer by trade, I was  unsatiated by the sole creative pursuit of music: I needed something more in-the-moment, something I could watch grow and evolve in real time. I began to explore photography, taking photos of the only willing subjects around... my fellow artists; quickly my passion grew a limb on the tree of my own self-expression. The art of photography now plays a pivotal and entirely complimentary role in my art, musicality, and has forever shifted my  interaction with the world and life as a whole.
